We’ve got two wide receivers, an offensive tackle, a tight end, a defensive end and a linebacker – yes, a linebacker – featured.
Wideouts Christian Kirk and James Washington are looking like names we’ll see quite a bit as we inch closer to draft day, but Boise State linebacker Leighton Vander Esch is a pick that raises some eyebrows. The analyst who made that projection – Mike Tanier of Bleacher Report – argued that the Panthers need “an eventual replacement for Thomas Davis and an insurance policy against Luke Kuechly absences.”
We also saw some love for the small school prospects.
