The Rockets short-handed bench could be close to having at least one reinforcement returning with Ryan Anderson potentially returning from his sprained ankle on Wednesday. Anderson missed the final four games of the Rockets regular season and the first game against the Timberwolves on Sunday.
“The last I heard is he had a good workout before the game,” Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said. “He has a real good shot (to play on) Wednesday and definitely on Saturday. Now, it’s going (to be about) how can we work him back in because he hasn’t played in two weeks? It’s not like, ‘Oh yeah Ryan.
