INDIANAPOLIS – After a lost season, a trip across the Atlantic and two months of silence, Andrew Luck is back at the Indianapolis Colts’ team facility.

"My gut and my feeling tells me I won't need another surgery," Luck told reporters Friday. "I’m very optimistic. I feel really good today I do not think I need another surgery. I believe in the process I’m in right now. I plan on being ready for everything (OTAs)."

Luck is expected to resume throwing next week, following the Colts’ regular season finale, to gauge his progress. He spent more than a month in Europe receiving alternative treatments on his surgically-repaired throwing shoulder after being placed on injured reserve on Nov.
