Don't expect Ohio State coach Urban Meyer and Texas coach Tom Herman to be sending Christmas cards to each other this year.
Meyer blasted Herman, the offensive coordinator for Meyer's 2014 national championship Ohio State squad, in an interview with CBS Sports on Thursday, taking issue with coaches like Herman blaming players they inherited from other staffs.
Herman told reporters following the Longhorns' Week 1 loss to Maryland that he can't "sprinkle fairy dust" on the team he inherited from Charlie Strong. That comment seemed to specifically bother Meyer, who said "players read that."
